The Bachelor of Computer Applications started in 2000-2001 with 17 students. It was affiliated by SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai.
It is only for girl students so Women’s University. Currently it has 06 faculty members in which 01has qualified SET Exam. Total 121 students are working towards their Bachelors. It has 02 well equipped laboratories with 56 computers.
Computer Applications is designed to test students' abilities to use word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications software, including integration of applications.
To enhance the knowledge and awareness in the field of computer the department has organized 01 state level seminar, 01 workshop on Android programming. Apart from this 06 research papers have been published in National and International journals and 18 presented in seminars, conferences.
Departmental staff has been participating in every activity of college and PRES like, Website Design, ERP training, create the background preparation for placement and off campus selection of students.
Apart from the academic curricula, department plays supportive role in conducting value added course like Intellectual Property Rights.
Students are motivated to participate in various activities.
